The Fallows
An Intimate Retreat Outside Crosby, Mn
This project is an exploration in artful architectural and lifestyle photography—a blend of interior and exterior imagery that doesn’t just document a space but reveals its atmosphere, soul, and quiet beauty. The Fallows is a thoughtfully restored cabin created for rest and retreat, and I approached it with a style that moves beyond traditional real estate or rental photography.
Rather than only bright, polished images, I layered in unique light, intentional details, and subtle angles that evoke the way it feels to be in the space. Every photograph is meant to hold the same spirit as the cabin itself: warm, reflective, and designed to slow you down.
“You feel it too. This ache for more intimacy in the emptiness of grind and noise. We want souls.” — Jaiya John
The Fallows embodies this invitation to pause and connect. My goal was to let that voice echo visually, creating imagery for their website and social presence that’s both magnetic and meditative—just like the retreat itself.
